About the Role: 

PLC Sydney is seeking exceptional, dynamic, and collaborative History Teachers to join our high-performing team on a temporary part-time (0.6 FTE) basis commencing Term 1, 2027. We currently have two contract opportunities available: 

• Temporary, part-time (0.6 FTE) for Terms 1 & 2 (2 terms)
• Temporary, part-time (0.6 FTE) for Terms 1, 2 & 3 (3 terms)

Working with motivated and highly engaged students, you will deliver rigorous learning programs in a well-resourced, forward-thinking environment designed to foster deep understanding, academic excellence, and student engagement. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across secondary year levels in alignment with curriculum standards. 
• Monitor progress, design assessments, and create an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners. 
• Work closely with colleagues on curriculum development and maintain clear communication with parents and staff.

Selection Criteria: 

• Formal secondary teaching qualification(s) and current NESA registration. 
• Demonstrated experience and expertise in delivering History lessons across all secondary year levels. 
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of creating an inclusive high-performing classroom environment. 

You will be required to support the Christian ethos of the College.
