REPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintenance Staff are responsible to the Principal through the Head of Business Operations and Administration through the Director of Facilities, and under the day-to-day direction of the Maintenance Manager or his delegate.

 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintenance Staff are responsible for maintaining a high-quality level of internal and external general maintenance for all College buildings and infrastructure, including grounds.
  • Maintenance staff are responsible for assisting the various trades as required.
  • Maintenance staff are required to abide by the College’s Staff Code of Conduct and to support the Christian ethos of the College.

Successful candidates will have: 

  • Demonstrated experience in general maintenance with diverse practical skills
  • Proficiency in operating hand and power tools, complemented by foundational knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Proactive problem-solving capabilities and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a collaborative team approach
  • Physical capacity to perform manual tasks, coupled with the ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently
