About the Role: 

 

We are seeking a detail-orientated quality, risk & compliance professional to join our Business Operations team. Reporting directly to the Head of Business Operations & Administration, you will collaborate closely with the Principals, College Council, Senior Executives and operational teams, to champion safety, governance, quality and risk that ensure the highest standards across the entire school community.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

As the subject matter expert for both PLC Sydney & PLC Armidale, ensuring we maintain the highest standards of safety, integrity and operational excellence, your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Risk and Incident management – conducting risk assessments, maintaining risk  registers, managing incident reporting systems
  • Quality Management – ensuring quality management frameworks comply with legal and regulatory obligations
  • Policy Architecture – updating, drafting and implementing operational policies including Child Protection, WHS, Privacy, Cyber Security policies and procedures
  • Audit & Reporting – undertaking internal audits, working with teaching and non-teaching staff to meet external compliance schedules, preparing compliance reports & updates for College Council
  • Staff Capability Building – designing and delivering engaging compliance and risk training programs for teaching and professional support staff

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who has:    

  • Proven experience in risk, quality assurance or compliance management, preferable within an education, healthcare or highly regulated community sector
  • Regulatory expertise with institutional governance frameworks including Child Safe Standards, WHS legislation and Cyber Security
  • An analytical mindset and sharp attention to detail, able to translate complex legislative, governance and quality requirements into simple, actionable policies & procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that build trust and collaborative working relationships across all areas of the College community
  • Superior organisational, administration and time management skills

 

You will be required to support the Christian ethos of the College.

 

You will need to provide a Working With Children Check (WWCC) Clearance Number and date of birth or must be willing and able to obtain one prior to employment. Information about obtaining a WWCC is also available when applying on our website.
